If you are creating a new design as an additional product, when, for example, it will be available at a different price than the standard design, you need to set this fact in the design properties. You have this option in the upper right corner. Here you set the necessary designation and price.

🔧 Setting new design
We For horizontal page we recommend to upload image in PNG or JPG format with resolution of 1519 x 956 pixels, RGB color space, without rounded corners and with no additional space around the card artwork itself.

Uniqueness of ‘Personal ID’ and usage of custom fieldsAs behaviour of the ‚Personal ID‘ parameter which is a part of cardholder data. This parameter needs to be unique on a card issuer level. That means there cannot be two cardholders with identical personal IDs under one card issuer. If a card issuer tries to insert a duplicate value in this field, he will receive an error. If, for some reason, you need to receive duplicate values from your card issuer, you can create your own custom field in NCDB → Card Issuers → Custom Fields. Each custom field needs to be assigned to one or more card issuers. If you want to have custom fields on digital cards, when creating custom fields, it is necessary to check the field export to CCDB. You can add various Customer fields to the card, you can read more about custom fields here |
🔃 Vertical card design
For both new and existing digital card designs, it is now necessary to add a vertical side to the card. Both types of visuals will belong to a single design, sharing the same design name and number. The number of vertical sides for a design does not have to match the number of horizontal sides. For the vertical design, only the first side is mandatory, and the additional number of sides is optional. The vertical design is intended only for displaying cards in their digital form and is not meant for printing. As a result, the vertical design will not appear in the card printing options.

We recommend uploading an image in PNG or JPG format with a resolution of 918x1458 pixels.For your vertical design, you can use the same or different placeholders as for horizontal designs. The recommended font size for placeholders on the vertical design is 2. |

If you want this Card Design to become the default one, in the left vertical menu, go to Licence Management –> Card Designs and click on “Default Designs” button. In drop-down menus, you can define default Card Designs for different types and forms of cards. Again, don’t forget to save your changes.
