COURSE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to this course on setting up and managing user access in the Alive platform. In this course, you will learn how to configure different access levels for your team members, ensuring data protection and security while granting the right permissions based on your specific needs.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the different user roles and access levels available in the Alive platform.

  • Assign and manage permissions to control what information and features each user can access.

  • Implement best practices to maintain security and compliance with data protection policies.

This guide is designed to help you effectively manage user rights, ensuring that team members have the necessary access without compromising sensitive information. Let's get started! πŸš€

1.Basic Details Section

The "Basic Details" section is used to configure essential user information during account creation or modification. It includes the following fields:

If you want to restrict a user's access to the platform, simply uncheck this box to deactivate their account.

To maintain data integrity, it is not recommended to delete existing users from the Alive platform. Instead, their account should be deactivated when access is no longer needed.

2.Managing User Access Rights

In this section, you can define which modules a user will have access to within the platform. Each user can be assigned specific roles based on their responsibilities.

The available modules and roles depend on your tenant’s system setup and usage of different modules. Users can be granted Administrator, Manager, Standard User, or Read-Only access, depending on their needs.

To assign or revoke access, simply check or uncheck the corresponding module. This ensures that users only have permissions relevant to their role and tenant requirements.

When assigning the Exclusive Representative (ER) role to a user, you have the option to configure NCDB access rights for GUI. This allows you to enable or restrict access to specific sections within NCDB based on your needs.

By selecting the appropriate checkboxes, you can control which sections are visible to the ER user, ensuring they only have access to the necessary areas while maintaining system security and data integrity.

By properly configuring these settings, you can customize the level of access for ER users, ensuring they have the appropriate permissions without exposing unnecessary system sections.

5.E-mail Messages

In this section, you can configure notifications for specific actions within the Alive platform. Some notifications are linked to functionalities that are only available in certain markets, so access to them may vary.

We highly recommend testing these notifications before enabling them to ensure they function as expected within your setup.
