Discounts and competitions in the Alive app

You can use competitions as a marketing tool and promo for your selected discount providers. The competition has a fixed date and also a prize. All contestants and their answers are saved within the Discount Manager. Each customer must tick the marketing consent when participating in the competition.

The discount must have all mandatory information and labels filled out in order for it to be displayed correctly in the application.

Provider setup and discounts

If you want to have the competition displayed in the application, you need to follow certain settings.

Discount provider:
The provider should have the check box that is Active and Show in the Public Discount Database checked.

Discount:
The discount should be marked as Active in order for it to appear in the application.

If you want to organize competitions for your customers, in which they can participate using the Alive App, we will demonstrate how to set up and evaluate such competitions.

Open

The competition is always linked to the discount provider whose name the competition is displayed in the application.

We can create a new competition on the detail of the discount provider.

In the details of the new competition, it is necessary to fill in all mandatory fields in both language versions.

Reference to the Conditions of the Competition - here you insert the URL to the Conditions of the Competition
Require User's Phone Number and Address - if you check this check box, the contestant will also have to send an address and phone number with the contest question.

Start Day and End Day - The date from when to when you want the competition to be active in the application.

Categories - the category to which the competition belongs (it can be the same as the category of the provider or its discounts)

Question - You have two options to choose from:

1. An open question

2. Multiple choices

Another competition option can be added via the green + icon

Photos and Videos

You can choose your own photos for each competition.

Evaluation of competitions

In the Competition List tab, a list of competitions is visible, who is their provider, what is their status and the duration date. You can get to the details of the competition via the blue icon I.

Limited offers

Limited offers are a special category of discounts that are displayed directly on the Dashboard and have their own category. These are mostly time-limited discounts. You can use the limited offers category for discount provider promotions.

If you want a discount in the Limited offers section, check the Limited offer check box on the discount detail.
