Online Verification of Cardholders

 

STEPS:

1.One-time set up: Before you can start using the Online Verification, you need to fullfil these steps:

  • Check Localization Manager, if translation related to the Verification have been translated to the local language.

  • Finish translation in the Localisation Manager and inform us.

  • Update the DM Plugin in WordPress Administration to the version 1.30.0 or newer provided by us, if we were adding your translations in the plugin.

  • Request the credentials for the Online Verification via service desk

  • Set up the credentials in the WordPress Administration.

2.Get the URL from the partner

The middle step is to get a url from the partner, where the users should be redirected. Most of the partners will provide you with a static url, which will same for all users, probably directing the users to some special "student discounts" In some special partner might require a dynamic url, url which will be unique for each user. This is used in case partner wants to have more control over the url. If this happens, please contact a service desk for more information how to proceed as it involves custom development. In 99,9% partner will have static url, which is positive and you can set it up in few clicks in the Discount Manager

3. Activating the Online Verification at the discount

Once you have finished the one-time setup, you can start activating it at the discounts you need in the Discount Manager:

a. In Discount Manager, navigate yourself to the edit mode of discount, where you want to set it up

b. Tick the checkbox "Available online"

c. Two other field will appear - "Website for Online Redemption" and "Card Verification required"

d. Add the URL in the field "Website for Online Redemption"

e. Tick the checkbox "Card Verification required" Note: This activation for the Online Verification works only in the case you have static address from the partner. That means, the url is always the same, there is not any need of dynamic link. In case you have partner with request to dynamic link, please contact a Service desk for more information about it.
